New Zealand-based streamer Quin69 has been streaming Diablo Immortal since its release. A lot has already been said about Diablo Immortal’s monetization tactics, but we can’t believe that spending $10,000 still hasn’t resulted in Quin not getting one of the most important items in the game.
Check out the clip below to see Quin’s reaction.
In the clip, Quin is clearly having fun with the situation. As most of the money he has spent in the game has come from his viewers, Diablo Immortal’s monetization is just serving as fun content for him.
Explaining Legendary Gems in Diablo Immortal
Legendary Gems are the most sought-after items in Diablo Immortal. These gems are incredibly powerful items that give your character general buffs and make some of their skills and attacks work better. Anyone who wants to make their character the best it can be will have to get as many Legendary Gems as possible to find the ones they need.
With reports saying it can take up to $110,000 USD to fully gear your character, it’s no wonder that people are outraged at how much money has to be spent in the game.
Activision Blizzard has yet to comment on the game’s monetization. In our opinion, we expect Blizzard to stay silent as people are willing to spend thousands of dollars on the game, and this is the unfortunate state of gaming in 2022.
To quote Quin in the clip above, “Blizzard should be proud.”
