Why was Zackrawrr banned?
While no official reason has been given by Twitch, many have assumed the ban is due to what was going while Zackrawrr was streaming Diablo Immortal.
In Diablo Immortal, a global chat is available where any player can type as they see fit. Naturally, this leads players to push the boundaries of what can be typed in chat to see if they get banned.
According to Reddit user u/Ashgur, “someone in diablo immortal’s chat wrote the N-word.” Apparently, Zackrawrr responded with, “Ah it’s just some stupid kid, who cares.”
Zackrawrr would end up being banned just a few minutes after. Since the N-word content was displayed on Zackrawrr’s stream, he was most likely held liable by Twitch and therefore banned.
How does Zackrawrr being banned affect Asmongold’s main stream?
The notable thing about Asmongold’s Zackrawrr account is that it isn’t partnered or monetized on Twitch. Asmongold has said plenty of times that the Zackrawrr account is used for relaxing and “chill” streams where Zack doesn’t have to use his highly-energetic Asmongold persona.
The issue is how this ban will affect Zack’s attempts to stream on his main Asmongold channel. Per Twitch’s Terms of Service (ToS), a banned streamer can’t “ban evade” by streaming on another channel. So if Asmongold streams on his main channel while Zackrawrr is banned, he’s in violation of Twitch’s ToS.
But since Asmongold is one of Twitch’s biggest streamers, we’re curious to see if an exception is made for him.
Asmongold was planning to return to his main stream on Saturday to discuss The Act Man vs. Quantum TV controversy.

We’ll be following up with everything tomorrow, of course
Asmongold has yet to make a statement about the ban.
