In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, players take on the role of a custom-created Fatemaker to defeat the Dragon Lord. Like most Borderlands games, players focus on leveling their character to improve their stats, get new skills, and get better gear.
As of now, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has a max level of 40. After reaching the level cap of 40, players can increase their Myth Rank to further improve their character’s stats.
Gearbox has not announced a level cap increase for Wonderlands. We’ll wait to see if level cap increases are planned with the additional DLC updates in the current Season Pass or if a second DLC is coming that has level cap increases.
How level scaling makes leveling easier in Wonderlands
Unlike most Borderlands games that only introduce level scaling in True Vault Hunter Mode, Wonderlands has level scaling turned on in the first playthrough for every character. This means that players will always fight against enemies who are at their current level.
For example, let’s say your character is level 35. If you go into one of the earlier zones that you beat at level 10, all the enemies in that zone will be level 35.
While level scaling means you have to keep your gear updated, it also makes leveling much easier. Since enemies are always at the same level you are, you won’t have to worry about getting reduced XP from enemies who are lower level than you.
If you take the time to do all the side quests in Wonderlands, you’ll hit level 40 before beating the game. This allows you to get plenty of level 40 gear that can prepare you for the Chaos Chamber.
The best way to level farm in Wonderlands is to play the game and beat all the side quests. This is the most efficient way to get to level 40.
