As a Bug and Fighting-type Pokemon, Pheromosa has great natural resistances. Pheromosa takes reduced damage from Fighting, Ground, Grass, Bug, and Dark-type moves.
Combined with its super high Attack, Special Attack, and Speed, Pheromosa is a beast (pun intended) at dishing out lots of damage quickly and trying to end battles in one turn.
For reference, here are Pheromosa’s base stats:
- HP: 71
- Attack: 137
- Defense: 37
- Special Attack: 137
- Special Defense: 37
- Speed: 151
- Total: 570
But every Pokemon has a weakness – including Pheromosa.
What is Pheromosa Weak Against?
As a Bug and Fighting-type Pokemon, Pheromosa is weak against Flying, Fire, Psychic and Fairy-type moves. Pheromosa takes 4x damage from Flying-type moves and 2x damage from Fire, Psychic, and Fairy-type moves.
Players can use Flying-type Pokemon like Corviknight and Fire-type Pokemon like Flareon to heavily damage Pheromosa. These Pokemon benefit from the 50% STAB damage bonus when using moves that match their type, so they’re a great option if you want to beat Pheromosa quickly before it can overwhelm your team.
Pokemon that know Flying-type and Fire-type moves like Aerial Ace and Flare Blitz can also deal extra damage to Pheromosa.
