Who is Mad Maggie?
Mad Maggie’s real name is Margaret Kohere, and she’s 55 years old, coming strong from her homeworld Salvo. Mad Maggie has an interesting background. Mad Maggie was unfortunately sentenced to death in the games by the Syndicate, but there was a discrepancy considering she was a full-fledged warlord regarding firefights and tactical combat.
So the Syndicate decided to benefit from the scenario by keeping her alive. They had a special plan just in store for her. But the Syndicate miscalculated their plan as they deeply underestimated her abilities.
Mad Maggie’s Abilities and Gameplay
Mad Maggie has been designed with offensive gameplay in mind. She has 3 abilities assigned to her. One is a tactical ability by the name of riot drill. Riot drill forces her enemies out of cover by covering the area with fire. The other is Warlord’s Ire which is her passive ability. Warlord’s Ire allows Maggie to track down her enemies with a shotgun and is given a solid speed boost. And her ultimate ability is wrecking ball. Wrecking ball properly characters at high speed using a trail of boost pads.
Riot drill fires a drill that attaches to cover and burns any enemies hiding from you. It has a 22-second cooldown. Riot Drill can be activated by holding the tactical button, which delays the launch and melee cancels it. You can use it while reloading, healing, or firing without interrupting any of those actions. Hitting the enemy directly deals 5 damage, and the drill bounces off them.
The drill takes 1 second to attach and causes total damage of 160 over 9 seconds. The drill can’t be destroyed unless the object it’s attached to is destroyed.
Warlord’s Ire is a valuable passive ability that lets you see enemies you’ve damaged. It also helps you move faster when you have shotguns equipped. Warlord’s Ire allows users to see enemy silhouettes through obstacles and walls for 1 second.
The passive ability also allows Maggie to walk and run with a shotgun at the same speed as when she holsters her weapons. The speed boost also affects ADS in the shotgun and results in an effective ADS speed penalty of around 0 percent in contrast to other weapons.
Using Thermites and Riot drill can help extend the duration of Warlord’s Ire.
Mad Maggie’s Ultimate Ability, Wrecking Ball, allows users to throw a ball that releases speed-boosting pads while detonating near enemies. The Ultimate Ability has a total charge time of around 1.5 minutes.
The ball bounces off the walls, ceilings, and floors when activated. When the ball finally hits a wall, a speed-boosting pad is installed in a zig-zag pattern. Activating the pad provides a 30% maximum speed boost but doesn’t stack with other speed boosts. Also, the speed boost only lasts for around 3 seconds.
After the ball explodes, the boost pads disappear within 60 seconds. The wrecking ball can also break through doors and will explode after bouncing several times or upon impact on an enemy. It deals a maximum of 20 damage and will stun any enemies or even Maggie within a radius.
So that’s pretty much it for Mad Maggie’s abilities and what she can do in battle. We’ve got loads of exciting guides lined up for you, so stay tuned for next time. Till then, see you later and goodbye!
