In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Primordial gear is currently the highest level of gear available for players who want to max out their builds. Primordial gear has a low chance to drop but is worth getting due to the increased stats they provide.
As a reminder, the current Chaos tier gears in Wonderlands are:
- Normal
- Chaotic
- Volatile
- Primordial
Here’s everything you need to know about how Primordial Gear works in Wonderlands.
What is Primordial Gear?
Primordial Gear is the highest-tier of gear after Volatile Gear in Wonderlands. On average, Primordial Gear increases an item’s stats by 50% of its base value. So a normal gun with 20% increased gun damage will have 30% increased gun damage for its Primordial variant.
How to get Primordial Gear
Players can get Primordial Gear by reaching Chaos Level 35. At Chaos Level 35, Primordial Gear has a 1.16% chance to drop from defeated enemies and loot bunnies or can be purchased from vending machines.

At a 1.16% drop chance, it can take a few hours if you’re aiming to farm a specific piece of gear. The best method to farm Primordial Gear is to run Level 35 Chaos Dungeons and focus on a Loot Bunny that offers the gear you want. So if you want a Primordial Legendary Assault Rifle, head to the Assault Rifle Loot Bunny.
That covers all you need to know about Primordial Gear in Wonderlands.
