About Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader
Players take on the role of a Rogue Trader, a descendant of a long line of brave privateers who run their own trading empire and explore the edges of Imperial space with the Emperor’s blessing. With their Warrant of Trade, Rogue Traders have more privileges and power than you can imagine. They also have the job of expanding the Imperium’s borders.
They have a huge voidship with a lot of power and a lot of servants and staff ready to do what their lord tells them to do. Their adventures start in the vast Koronus Expanse, a dangerous area of unexplored space at the edge of humanity’s territory.
Exploration will lead the main character to mysterious lost and forgotten worlds as well as many planets that have already been claimed by humans. These planets, which range from lush Agri-Worlds to steel-covered Forge Worlds, can all be claimed for your growing merchant empire or raided for their riches.
Be ready to meet both possible allies and dangerous enemies of the Imperium as you travel between the stars. Chaos cults and alien Xenos are among the most dangerous and dangerously treacherous enemies.
You will make choices that will change the lives of whole worlds. You will have to show how good you are at strategy and tactics in turn-based battles against strong opponents.
No Rogue Trader travels alone. On this dangerous trip into the unknown, you will meet loyal and smart people who will travel with you. Imagine fighting with a powerful Space Marine in power armor, a deadly Aeldari Ranger, or a brave Sister of Battle with a bolter and a heartfelt prayer. All of these characters and many more will join you.
Become a Rogue Trader with a lot of power, find new worlds, and help shape the future of the Imperium.
Players can support the game by buying a Founder’s Pack starting today. Early supporters will be able to play the Alpha and Beta versions of the game, give the team feedback that will help shape the game, and get a set of rewards and items that are only available to early supporters.
